Medical Office Administration

Medical Office Administration prepares the students for a career in the field of health. It helps you join the workplace in medical offices, clinics and hospitals equipped with the expertise required to handle the front desk in these facilities.

Home Support Worker

The HSW program prepares graduates to provide supportive care to individuals, including clients experiencing cognitive impairment, physical disability, and mental health challenges across their lifespan by assisting them with their activities of daily living. Home support workers provide personal care and companionship for seniors, persons with disabilities

Personal Support Worker

This program is designed to train individuals to give consumers/ clients and their families the care and assistance needed to live fulfilling lives in the community and in institutions. The students in this program develop a broad range of abilities

Personal Support Worker Bridging (PSW Bridging)

This program is designed to transition individuals who are nurses and healthcare workers with foreign training into the Canadian workforce. It also is ideal for any previously Canadian-educated nurses, health care aides, or personal support workers, who have either been out of the workforce for a while

Pre-Med

Students complete 90 credit hours of the Pre-Med program in one year, which provides the prerequisites to be qualified and eligible for admission into several MD programs.  This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.

 

Medical Office Administration with Health Unit Coordinating

A diploma in Medical Office Administration with Health Unit Coordinating prepares students for a career in hospital units and ward, clinics, medical offices, long term care facilities, and other allied healthcare settings.

Dental Office Administration

A diploma in Dental Office Administration prepares students for a career working in dental offices and clinics. Students receive training in dental office procedures, dental terminology, dental anatomy and physiology, word processing, and patient database management.

Dental Office Administration with Internship

A diploma in Dental Office Administration with Internship prepares students for a career working in dental offices and clinics. This program includes a 100 hour internship to provide students with hands-on training in the field with a suitable employer. CIMT College arranges the 4 weeks practicum for students.
